La Marquise is in the house. She's a kitty who is all about luxury. This is a one of a kind hand crafted kitty cloth doll made with unique vintage materials and other fine bits.

Her body is 100% cotton and her interior is poly fill. Her face is embellished with rhinestone buttons for eyes, light pink glass beads from the 1920s' for her nose. Dark pink vintage bits of velveteen are sewn on with gold filament thread for her ears. She has a glorious pink feather and tulle pompom headdress.

Her gorgeous dress is made of biscuit and white striped taffeta in the pompadour style, trimmed with hand ribbonwork roses and beading. The under-dress is white silk velvet over antique broderie Anglais cotton. The pink and gold sash in vintage Scalamandre ribbon, yes Scalamandre! The feet are embellished with white tulle pom poms and beading.

This is a one of a kind, hand crafted object of art. Because of the fine and antique materials, it may not withstand regular or rough play, therefore, it is best kept as display on a shelf, chair, or bed. This is not a toy for small children.
