A bit of luxe whimsy for your next party cake!
This is a hand crafted cake topper made mostly with paper. It is very lightweight and measures approximately 13 inches from the base top the top of the flag. The base is very thick and sturdy paperboard, on top of that is a round paperboard box covered with pale aqua and white striped paper that is embellished with antiqued gold dresden trim, rhinestone trim, and shimmering crystal glitter.  
Topping this round section is antique lace trim over gold gilding.
 
The carousel portion is on gold glittered polka dot paper with tulle. The center of the carousel is covered with flocked velvet paper and embellished with vintage photo prints of children and animals in pierrot costumes. The photos are framed with antique gold dresden trim. Three horses are hand painted with gold gilding and set onto gold and white striped paper straw poles.
 
The top of the carousel features a cone shape center with a scalloped trim band, embellished with gold glitter and sheer ivory tulle. The gold painted flag pole had a moire silk ribbon flag and glass pearl beads.
 
This cake topper goes wonderfully with the carousel horse cupcake toppers sold in this shop. After decorating the cake it will make a fabulous decoration elsewhere for memories of a beautiful celebration.
